Questions gym owners ask
Do I need a card to start the free trial?
No. Create your gym and run it free for 14 days with members, payments and check-ins. Upgrade any time to unlock expenses, reports and member photos. You pay by Wave or bank transfer only if you decide to keep going.
Can my front desk staff use it on their phones?
Yes. IronDesk works in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, so there's nothing to install. Each staff member gets their own login.
Can staff see how much money the gym makes?
Only if you let them. The owner chooses what each role sees on the dashboard, and expenses, reports and staff management are for owners and managers only.
What if someone records a payment by mistake?
An owner or manager voids it with a reason. The payment stays on record marked as voided, stops counting as revenue, and the member's balance is put back.
Can I bring my existing members?
Yes. Upload your Excel or CSV list (name, phone, plan, expiry date, what they owe) and IronDesk checks every row before importing. People already in IronDesk are skipped, and renewals and balances carry on from there.
I run more than one gym. Can I use one account?
Yes. On any paid plan you can add up to 4 more locations as branches, each at 75% of your plan price. Each branch keeps its own members, money and staff, and you switch between them with one login.
Is my gym's data safe?
Each gym's data is private to that gym and its staff. Passwords are stored scrambled, every action needs the right login, and the database is backed up every night. We never sell your data.
What happens when the free trial ends?
You choose a plan and pay by Wave or bank transfer. Everything you entered during the trial stays, so you carry on exactly where you left off.
